Bilingual Comprehensive Assessment

A comprehensive assessment looks at the whole picture: attention, learning, social-emotional functioning, and how your child manages everyday school demands.
Because testing is conducted with bilingual measures and interpretation, we can tell the difference between a language acquisition pattern and a genuine learning or attention difference — something standard, English-only testing often can't do reliably for bilingual children. We combine standardized testing, classroom observation, and input from parents and teachers to build a full picture, then translate it into next steps that actually help at home and at school.

Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)
Have you received results from a school evaluation but still have questions? An IEE is a comprehensive assessment conducted by a psychologist independent of your school district — a fresh, unbiased look at your child's learning needs.
We use a full range of testing, observation, and interviews to build an objective understanding of your child's strengths and challenges, then deliver findings that help you and your school make informed decisions together. If your IEE is granted through your school district, it's covered at no cost to you; we also attend IEP or 504 meetings to help the team put results into action.
Good for: a second opinion after a school evaluation, disputes over eligibility or services, district-funded independent evaluations
School Admission and Accommodation Testing
Whether you're applying to a private school or need documentation to support extended time or other accommodations, this evaluation gives you a clear, credible picture of how your child thinks and learns.
For admissions, most private schools require a cognitive or achievement assessment as part of the application. We use the Wechsler Intelligence Scales alongside other measures tailored to your child's language background, so results reflect true ability rather than language exposure — and are presented in a report that meets what admissions offices are looking for. This same testing can also identify giftedness, so if a gifted program is part of your goal, that's covered too.
For accommodations, if your child needs extended time or other testing supports — for standardized tests like the SSAT or ISEE, or for classroom accommodations — we conduct a thorough evaluation and provide the documentation schools and testing organizations require to approve them.
Either way, you'll walk away with more than a score: a clear picture of how your child learns best, and a report built to do what you actually need it to do — open doors or secure support.
